I would imagine it has a 'Made In China' stamp somewhere, which is why I'm not bidding on it. Great story as well to go with the auction!

looks like a bad effort at making a half cast court type saya with a gunto in the guts of it

        run from that one Russ

in saying all that, Im not an expert on these things at all, so I could be quite wrong, but I would expect better crafting with the fittings etc, the photos are not great tho, so that does not help

The seller of this thing also ripped $499 out of someone last week for a fake NCO - he had a nice story for that one as well...

The buyer of that fake NCO sword has the current high bid on this one as well....

          Just frustration, not serious Ric!

              Russell,
I missed that one (Thankfully) I see two questions are not yet replied to on the auction - possibly someone screaming 'For the love of God, Man, LEAVE IT ALONE!!' - which could be why the seller hasn't answered them yet.
              Ric,
Even though the images are poor, that 'clipped' kissaki is such a giveaway...
A fool and his money...are being parted.

Hi Mark, I think you're probably right regarding the un-answered questions. He hasn't posted the close-ups of the ornaments that were requested as well - wonder why?

                Regards
