Cant post in e stand

There is a Japanese helmet in the estand for sale sans the chin strap, and I have some questions about the liner. For some reason I cannot post there.
Is it my account, or is there a problem with that fourum?

I've got my eye on this helmet, even though the chin straps are missing.
Does it look like wire holding in the liner?
