    Captain Walter Blyth Anderson,information required.

About two years ago i managed to pick up a good quality Japanese sword.it returned to England with a Captain Walter Blyth Anderson who was in the tank corps Burma i think.Captain Anderson and three other offices were nabbed by the Japanese and low and behold they all escaped from there captors.i am unable to find any information on Captain Walter Blyth Anderson.i have tried quit a few times to contact his family but with no success. The sword was in need of some restoration and i had it polished, the result is marvellous.fittings on sword are WW11 with a Môn [badge]on the top of the handle.any information or help would be great.Captain Anderson was from the Bradford area. thanks Mick Taylor

Have you tried to obtain his military file from the archives? I've done that here in NZ for a few vets that brought back items and the amount of information can be quite rewarding.
