Two stripes for officer. Single stripe for Petty Officer. White caps for summer, blue for winter. Looks lika a very nice example.

I'm getting old...just noticed cap has no sweat band around perimeter of interior. Would of likely had a black leather sweat band. Wearers hair would of gotten stuck & ripped out on those button prongs being exposed. Diffinately had & needs a sweat band.
