My first and only sword - your thoughts please.

Just got it today.Know next to nothing about swords.I just really like the look of it.Hope it gets a big thumbs up here.It is 27" inches long, from the tip to the tsuba. It has what appears to be a brass habaki with a silver wash or plating? It was hard for me to pick up the tempering on the blade with the lighting. My question is,can you tell from the pictures if this is a machine or hand made blade? And any help on the tang inscriptions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Gerald.

土岐亮信作 (Made by Toki Sukenobu). It's a war time Seki blade but the smith (one of the original smiths of the Seki Token Co., Ltd.) is in the mid upper class quality I believe. Probably semi-machine forged, but better quality at that.

Thanks to all for taking the time, especially Edokko for the translation and history. Invalueable. Would anyone have an idea on the approximate value? It is very hard to tell from the pictures but there are no nicks or blemishes on the blade. the finish is mirror like. Thanks again,Gerald.
