    any information appreciated as to what it is? and possible country? any thoughts on value please..

    taken from a japanese soldier from pacific Island? WWII, that is the story.. 16"long x 1.1/2" diameter

      look's like a riding crop to me, my mum used to have a few of these when we had horses the pattern doesn't look japanese but who knows.
