    japanese bayonet books

Just a question on two bayonet books I saw on amazon. The titles are

    Japanese Bayonets by Larry Johnson
Bayonets of Japan by Raymond LaBar

Are these titles worth the fairly high prices? Johnson's book runs from $230 to $450... Seems a bit high, but perhaps the print run was low.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. And if there are better (or complementary) books on this subject, I'd love to know the titles.

    Cheers,
    Rich

both are very good, but i don't think Johnson is worth such sum. LaBar is cheaper($125?) and newer. I use it and really is very satisfied

Thanks very much for your reply. I'll check out LaBar's book first.

LaBar's book is pretty good IMO - excellent illustrations.
