Any idea what sort of plane with the "bomb" for the nose is? Also... recognize any of the Japanese officers on post #3?

It's a very neat picture of an Ohka "flying bomb". Ohka was a rocket powered aircraft, the front as seen in your picture is the warhead with the nose cover removed. Gives you a great idea how big of a punch it carried!

There is a photo on wikipedia of the exact same Ohka that is in your picture, but it is taken from a different angle. It shows several men defusing the bomb.
