New parachute, need help

I just picked up this Japanese parachute, and I was wondering if someone could help me to ID it, and tell me what it would be used for. Thanks Jon

Thanks for the info. I guess I always assumed the green packed chutes were for pilots, does the green pack just indicate navy? I have seen the tan canvas packs also used for cargo chutes, would those be army chutes? Last question, would you venture a guess on approximate value for this type of chute. Thanks Jon
