Good morning John,
Metal tag appears to read "Nihon Swift Company (N.S.C.) of Tokyo. Machine Gun Brand." and then some licensing talk along the bottom. That's a very literal translation, no idea what their product line really was. Resident translator Edokko will undoubtedly be here after the Holidays with more information.
