    Who is this IJN man?

    Hi All, I picked up this nice photo of a IJN commander coming out of a building to his car with the navy crest and car plat 1.

    can anyone recognise this man? sorry picture is worn out

        Nice photo
        Sorry I cant read the kanji.
        It looks like a high grade officer.The car numberplate says :01 ,(In Denmark our queen has this numberplate ) so this is a V.I.P I think.
        The sword looks strange ,it looks somhow to short.

        Looking forward to hear other members.

        I have a nice large size original navy picture with Yamamoto(the brain behind Pearl Harbor), Togo( Japanese-Russian war), Itoh and kamimura from prox. 1913.

          Thanks for sharing Yamamoto's photos, that is a good one.

          most of the pictures I have of IJN are from period wwII japanese magazines, including Yamamoto's funeral if you are interested
