Can I get an opinion about this Japanese tunic?

Much appreciated. What's your opinion of the way these tabs were applied? The jacket is from Japan, has mothing, but I'm just curious about the originality of the application of tabs.

Hard to say with absolute certainty. Not the "invisible' tack stitches I prefer. I would lean towards post war application.

The picture was taken with the collar out, so the tab looks upside down. Do you mean that it was put on upside down? What tipped you off?
