Gentlemen, I recently came into possesion of some Japanese relics from WW2. There are several flags and swords in the group, and one flag in particular that I have never seen another like it. The veteran was in the OSS and when the European conflict was over he was transferred to the Pacific. Therefore the mixed German and Japanese items in the scans. The one flag that I would like to identify is the one with the rampant lion. If any one could shed some light on it, it would be very acommodating to all of us who has seen and wondered who or what it designed for. I'm thanking you in advance for your time and experience . WOW !! Rich........ you are THE MAN ! I know nothing about the Japanese in WW2. I concentrate on the European conflict. Your knowledge blows me away !
