Okinawa Artillery Question

Has anybody seen gun caves on Okinawa? Can you still find artillery pieces on the island?

Hi Eric,

there are still artillery pieces on display here and there but the only one that I am aware of that is still in place in its bunker is on Naha Air Base now owned by the Japanese Air Self Defense Force. David.

Thank you David. I took pics of a Japanese 150mm howitzer at Pearl Harbor naval base that was supposedly captured on the island. Still has battle damage. There is another 150mm howitzer displayed near my house at the Veteran's museum that is in excellent condition and captured on Leyte. Trying to compile pics of Japanese artillery on Okinawa. I have alot of veteran photos of the island, some showing artillery/tanks, etc.
