Two Japanese flags, with writing, that I thought were interesting; maybe one of them will have names or slogans of importance. Looking forward to any observations

Your second flag looks like a souvenir flag made up for an occupation era G.I. The katakana writing includes names of what are most likely individuals who had a relationship with the soldier who owned the flag. Slogans include, "Good luck to you." "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" and "United States of America"
