NCO Shin Gunto question

Hi all

I was offered a NCO Shin Gunto with aluminum grip. However, there is absolutely no traces of paint on the aluminium, which I find strange. Do these sword sometimes had no paint at all ?

I will shoot some pictures to illustrate later.

Beware, the one you showed was a very bad fake! But the newer ones are getting pretty darn Good!
