Japanese helmet look OK?

Hello,
I am wondering if this helmets painted size mark looks OK to you guys. It seems to have been painted over a chip of missing paint. Has anyone seen this before? Can it just be a post war touch-up? Or, could this have been done war time? rest of the helmet looks good, its just this area that concerns me!

Hi Hauptman,
This marking seems OK to me, I've lready seen this type with this color before. Has been perhaps remarked (big size) latee in the life of this helmet..
