    Hello all,
    Been a member for a while now. I don't post very often but read every day. I have been after this helmet for about a year now and im pretty sure I while finally get it soon. I would value your opions on it. Thanks in advance.

        Very nice example of a very rare helmet rust aside Are the chinstrap ends sewn across or have they been cut? They look short.

                Oh when will it be my turn for one of these ? Seriously that is a killer helmet in any condition. I have looked and looked but came up empty. Very nice! Thanks for posting it and welcome to the forum.

                    Larry some advanced collectors do not have an example! Congrats! It would figure it's coming from Australia or New Zealand! I've seen some pretty unusual variations come from there. My twin brother Russ has another neat variation. Post some new photos when it arrives & you need to get the dome kanji on the tag translated.

                        I will post some pictures of it. And the first thing is to get the tag translated. I would like to think it says property of so and so Battleship Yamato. ha-ha
