Fantastic grouping Russ! Goes to show how soldiers proudly displayed captured items regardless of their military content. Many of these souviner items came back home with capture stories that we now would scoff at! Once again without Nick's help.. "Rare Japanese Marine Unit Flag"

Please help with research

Gents, hoping you can help with some research.

I need to find some information on the following Japanese Infantry Regiments, which were formed in the Kochi Prefecture. Any pointers to where I can look up these histories would be appreciated.

114, 238, 244, 261, 264, 353, 354, 451.

From information kindly provided to me by Nick, I believe one of these Regiments may have been on Nissan Island. This has come about by a couple of other Yosegaki flags I showed Nick, and it seems it is likely they could be related to this grouping as they came from the same person. I'm trying to secure them now, and if successful, I will show them here.

Any help much appreciated as always.
