Help request on identity of Japanese patch?

    Hello to all,
I recieved this patch in a vet lot of insignia and occupation money. I am not really sure what this item is. Any help is greatly appreciated, The actual size is about 5 inches length by 3 inches.

    Thanks,
    Joe

It's a Philipino (working for the Japanese) workers I.D.tag. Similar to a dog tag.

I cant make out the name of the town, but the name of the person is a woman; Dominga Colobos or Colubos. The other info is the age of the person.
As Jareth said, patches like this were worn by Filipinos working in some (usually minor) aspect with the Japanese during the occupation there.
They were commonly souvenired by GI's and I am sure they rarely got a explanation for what they were used for!
