Another IJN helmet with a touch up stripe for this thread. Again it is not done in the same manner as the IJA examples as it is not a solid swath. The IJN helmets with this stripe are for the most part painted over the liner hardware and sometimes the badge.

Here is a nice IJA that I have had for years.The tie string has never been untied since WW2 so I do not know the date of the helmet.

Nice solid example Dennis.....One more thing to add about the painted stripe on IJN helmets. They have all been on mid to late examples.
