I have a couple concerns one the chinstrap does not match the rear suspension strap. In the photo the star's right point is standing straight out when it should curve back into the helmet,as well as, being crooked. Just my thoughts.

Could that be the lighting, or do you think the chinstraps a repro? Were the earlier war chinstraps longer? The one my dad sent home isn't nearly as long as this one

It's not the lghting. I would guess it is replaced possibly with an original hard to tell fom the photos

Looks good to me, and pretty fair shape as an as found helmet.
