I got this from the son of the vet today. He said his dad got it from a dead officer on Iwo Jima. It is the earliest one I have ever owned. Dated 2.8 for Aug. 1927

Very nice & early Chigusa Type 14. These are hard to come by. Does the clip match the pistol serial number? Nice pick up.
