My first japanese helmet...translation help?

Hey guys,
After a few German helmets I finally decided to purchase a Japanese helmet. Curious as to what the kanji translates to?..unit or name of soldier? thanks for any help.

The clearly visible writting in white is the name "Okumura" and the size Large.
