    WW2 Samurai sword

I have a fairly well beat up Samurai sword with no visible markings. The pommel cap is missing and the blade is rusted. The overall length is 34 inches. The grip is leather wrapped, and the scabbard is leather over wood. I'm wondering if there are replacement pommel caps available, and if there is anything that could help improve the condition of the blade? In addition, there are two snaps at the top of the scabbard that appear to be used for a belt attachment. I would be interested in any ideas you could pass along.
    Thanks,
    Mike
