Helmet, help with identification and value ?

Guys,

I know little or nothing about Japanese helmets, so would appreciate any help. Just picked this up at an estate sale. Liner is gone and looks like someone recently took a grinder to the rivets as well. Paint is mostly there and has some markings painted inside the back lip of the helmet.

Is it an Army helmet ? What are the markings ? Size ? What is the value in present condition ?

Another shot of the markings, but blurry. Unfortunately the first shot was washed out by the flash and the second shot is blurry. I can try to take another shot tomorrow.

this is an original Army shell. paint looks original too. value? less than $100 on Ebay.

the upside down Y with a bar across it means it's a large size shell. i don't know what the other character represents.

That one is a Thai conversion no value really the two kanji are the owners name

Because all the original parts are gone and new holes drilled for a us type liner

Original Japanese owner's name is intact though. 岸本 (Kishimoto)
