    Japanese Sword Tang Markings

    Hello My Friends of Nihonto.

I just bought this sword with a few others from the estate of the US veteran.
Can anyone read the tang for me? I thought it was an unusual number of charachers, and the stamping "logo" was aslo unusual.

Any help is greatly apprecaited. I am trying to learn teh basics of Kanji, but its like each time I see new charachters.
    Thanks,

    Jerry

It reads,,,hopefully,,,,No Shu Ju I Do Hidetoshi "made this" Page 33 Sloughs "Modern Japanese Swordsmiths" The arsenal heat stamp at top is typical Showa stamp meaning 1926-1945 wartime production.
