Salty Helmet & Cover

This 2nd pattern NLF helmet & cover is shown as found. Salty and used. With the original net and shrapnel hit to the side of the cover.
Nicely marked on the back of the cover. Inside shows use as what would be expected. If one only new where it was picked up...
These 2nd pattern covers seem to be harder to find than the 1st pattern. The real tough one is the 3rd pattern with the bevo insignia. hard to find, I know of only 3. I'm sure there are more out there.

Inside. Note the typical navy numbers on the inside crown of the navy helmet. This particular helmet is a brass anchored one.
