Please help identifying these japanese medals

I recently received these medals for my collection, now i am new to collecting Japanese medals so i am looking for some more information about these medals.

    These are the medals:

The only info i have are the names of the medals.

    - Order of the Scared Treasure 8th Class Medal
    - Red Cross
    - Scared Double Bridge Under the Emperor's Kikumon
    - Russo Japanese War Medal
    - Scared Double Bridge Under The Emperor's Kikumon
    - First Sino Japanese War Medal

Could anyone tell me what the medals where for, if they came in the right boxes, what they are worth approximately and if they are WWII?

I am confused about the boxes as i have done a bit of research and see the medals in different boxes on different sites.

    All help is welcome.

    Thank you.

    With kind regards,

            Tim,

            Yes i did!

I read the sites you posted plus i found one other site which is selling Japanese medals. So i have a good indication what they are worth and i now for sure know what the names of the medals are.

The only thing i haven't figured out yet is the boxes. I am not yet 100% sure that the medals are in the right boxes.

            Thanks for your help Tim.

            With kind regards,

              tiomnajasila,

You have a couple in wrong boxes.

              - The Order of the Sacred Treasure (8th class) is correct in the Meiji era case.

              - The Japanese empire 2600th national anniversary commemoration medal should be in the case you have the red cross medal in. The second piece that you have is in the correct box, just compare the lettering.

              - I really don't know if the unmarked case is correct for the red cross medal or any of the pieces you have here. It appears by the inside pocket, it doesn't fit, so somebody else will have to address that one.

              - You have the medals/boxes swapped for the 1904/05 Russo-Japan medal and the 1937-45 China Incident Medal.

                Tim,

Thank you very much for your help.

I've swapped the medals according to what you wrote. But indeed the case which now has the Red Cross medal in it, seems not to be the right one. I will be researching further on this one. I have seen the right case for the medal already online but have no idea what this case is for yet.

                Thanks once again Tim.

                Kind regards,
                tiomnajasila
