Remember, not all of the rifles had the AA sights, and the mum isnt really an issue when it comes to collectibility.

Thats crazy for the bayonet, he wanted almost the price of a pistol for a simple blade.

Helmetbuyers, That is the perfect late war rig, square back cocking knob and short panel grips with a canvas holster. WOW. The thing that fired me up the most is when I saw the serial # I quick checked mine and I have # 70122 in the same configuration. IF you ever decide to sell it PLEASE contact me or have Jareth get in touch with me. That would be a dream come true for me to have consecutive numbered 94's. Thanks for posting the pics because at least I got to see it .

Robert, They are both in near identical condition, even with mine being the older brother. The one I have came in a shoulder holster thats rather crudely made but with no history. The guy I bought it from got it at a garage sale and never bothered to ask the family any questions, I asked why he didn't and his reponse was " why would he " , more lost history. Were you able to get any history with it, I know sometimes the families honestly don't know anything. You should try to get the mans name and unit he served with , as you can tell, I get a little excited over this stuff. Thanks again for the pics and keep me in mind. Bill

Wow, consecutive numbers. I know a guy who has a rifle that is 40 numbers off from one of mine, I wouldnt even dream of having the consecutive number.

                    Hello Bill..

I have very little info. on the pistol.

The guy was stationed in Japan from 1945-46. That is all I know.

If you can post images of your Nambu... that would be great. My Nambu hasn't seen his long lost brother in years.

Maybe you would sell me yours.. and they can have a reunion?

Bill's not camera literate. He is a very serious pistol/rifle collector. Didn't know you were? Thought you collected/sold helmets.

I am mostly a helmet, and flag collector. And... am starting to collect swords.

I do have 13 or 14 Nambu's in my collection.... but only buy them if the price seems right... and put them away.

I don't know how to strip them, or even recognize arensal marks.

I just know how to read the date of manufacture... and that's about it.
