    Japanese sword value

    Gentlemen,

I know nothing about Japanese sword but would liek to know the value of such a sword, if I was to buy it.
Sorry for the bad pics but that's all I have from the seller.
Here's the description of the sword ; " A Japanese late 1944 Army Officer "SHIN-GUNTO", blade signed by "KIYO TSUGA" and dated "January 1945".
The condition is supposed to be exceptional.

    Thank you all.

I'd place value around $600 to $650. Kiyotsugu is one of the Seki group of smiths working during the war, but is not in anyway exceptional and the blade itself is semi-machine forged oil-tempered.
