Your sarcasm aside, based on the other 3 real ones that were sold on Ebay, this one does appear to be original and untouched. I have never personally handled one, but the seller, tokyorose1, Reto Kleinpeter, has a fantastic Japanese headgear collection, which includes several original IJA Para helmets, and is a very experienced, and knowledgable Japanese headgear collector. It sure looks like a GOOD lid to me! Go ahead and make fun of Ebay, but I have aquired, and seen sold in the last 10 years, dozens of FANTASTIC WWII Japanese helmets. I challenge anyone to tell where more good IJA, NLF high end helmets have been sold in the last 10 years. Its not too difficult to separate the fake/crap from the really good.Seeking original IJA & NLF Helmets w/ their original Helmet Covers & Camo nets... WWII USMC "War Trophies", and ID'ed Raider Items/Groupings

This is a bad one. Insignia is dubious. It's mounted too high on helmet. Late army liner with three leather sectioned pads is incorrect & who knows what else is wrong until it's side by side with another or in hand. When a rare items sells extremely high it usually brings out other examples. My experience & opinion of the seller is 100 degrees opposite.

"This is a very rare helmet that is rarly encounterd.I never had handled one of this before.Condition is good with 90%paint in order, chinstraps are full length and show no damage. The liner is separated in 3 places and is a bit dry but otherwise complete. There is a stamp under the front pad which I show in the picture but its not readable any longer.Thats all I can say about it,let the pictures speak for it self"God please take justin bieber and gave us dio back
