Good day everyone,

I want to add this banner to my collection. I’m not collection Japanese but I like this banner. Even if I don’t know if it’s a original or not.
I want to ask you about your opinion of this banner. Is this banner from the second world war or is this a later production?

That is an original WW2 banner used when a Hitoshi Yamas-hi-ta went to war from Mikkaichi City. This banner says "celebrating the call-up of Hitoshi Yamash-ita". They put these banners up in front of the house, and family and friends sent the recruit off, wearing a flag signed by his friends, etc across his chest like a sash.
