Your uniform is not police but civil defense. The civil defense force was under the authority of the regular police much like air raid wardens were in the US. The uniform is original but looks a bit tattered. I saw one like this, with helmet and tunic and belt, sell on ebay the other day for around $75 I believe. Not much interest in civil defense stuff I am afraid.Comment
