    Unknown Japanese Officers ?

    This is a still from my private photo collection. Would love to see if anyone can identify these japanese officers ?

    A very nice color photo. The man on the left is a general and I presume the one on the riqht is as well.
    It looks like the airfield is perhaps on Okinawa. Certainly not likely on the Japanese mainland however.

        Okinawa is a good guess but it can be anywhere. Wake or occupational duty in Japan? Those officers (Japanese) appear happy and not dishonored such as a captured Pacific Island...makes me lean more towards Japan.

          this image is a still shot from a rare color home movie taken by a american soldier based in Okinawa and its US airbase that is shown under construction 1945.

            im just searching google and found this picture, the officer on the left looks very similiar to the officer on the far left of this black and white photo. idendity still unknown?

              Your photo disappeared so I can't compare it, but it may be the surrender delegation that flew into Ie Shima.
