can anyone give me a location or any details on the following:
Shimo-Hayakawa
City, Shin-machi
I cant seem to find much of anything on the net.

Shimo-Hayakawa and Shin-Machi are both locales in the greater Itoigawa City of Niigata Prefecture.

Is it possible for one to say they are from both areas Shimo-Hayakawa City,
Shin-machi?
In other words if I was to read something that reads:
____ County, Shimo-Hayakawa City, Shin-machi

would it mean individual is in both areas?
I am not familiar with Japanese territorial subdivisions. also note time period is
pre-45

First of all, my mistake, it's not Shin-machi but pronounced Ara-machi. And there is a Shimo-hayakawa in Ara-machi. So the address would go like Itoigawa-gun (county) Ara-machi (town) Shimo-hayakawa (area). Hope this helps
