    David, nice net. Excellent condition. Can you explain the 3 colour idea. Was it meant for some particular theatre?

      I'm sure it was just like any camo pattern to break up lines with colors and blend. I believe they would have been used anyplace tropical

            Those 3 basic colors are also the typical IJA armor/field equipment colors.The green and brown are spot on camo for the Ha-Go and Chi-Ha tanks,with the yellow as a dazzle effect color used on a tank or large gun carriage to separate the various sections to mimic asymmetry.Interesting that they used the same concept for personal camo.Before I saw this identified as such,I'd pick it up at a garage sale and think it was an old hippie shawl,heh.
