Japanese?

I have seen 2 of these local and some on e-bay in the last few weeks. Seller says it is Japanese but it looks like the tail unscrews. I have a type 100 and it looks like it but the type 100's tail does not unscrew. Anyway I was just wondering what it is? Is this a type 97?

P.S. Does anyone know where I can find a fuse for a type 100 81mm mortar shell?

I am no ammo expert, but this looks very much like a WW2 french mortar to me; and these french mortars have a tail that unscrews; but then again, all moratrs look alike. You might want to ask in the fire arms section, as they are pretty sharp.
