Japanese collection I found today 2/07/2007

Hello forum...

I will start posting photos of stuff I find in my local area.

This came from an estate of a WWII US Army veteran.

It appears he took all items from a dead Japanese soldier. I can safely assume he was dead... since there is some blood on the flag, 1000 stitch belt... and part of what appears to be bridge-work and a gold plated tooth?

I am not sure what the other banner or belt is... nor... the small tin box? It says: "10 CC"... so... I think it held a syringe at one time?

There are also chop sticks named to the Japanese soldier.... and a small bag of sea shells. I am guessing these shells are probably mementos from home... and he lived near a beach?

There is a wicker type wallet... Japanese and Australian coins... and Philippine stamps and paper money.

There were also a few pieces of US gear in the lot... but... nothing that desirable. The US stuff I will sell separately... and the Japanese lot... will be kept together... as they should.

I see at least two "shrine stamps" on the 1000 stitch belt.. and Japanese writing as well. I am sure it's named to the soldier.
