Very nice machine gun! I hope to have one someday as well. I think the "design lines" of both the 96 and the 99 are awesome! They just look sweet!! Mike

Actually the very easiest way to distinguish a type 99 from a 96, especially in older unclear photos, is the big flash hider on the 99. Type 96 did not have one.
That is a very nice earlier 99 there!
