That is a outstanding group of things , that is a Japanese army helmet on the left , a naval landing forces helmet on the right. A officers collar tab, very nice sword belt with hanger. Great looking canteen, good looking bayonet, nice canteen, the books I am not sure about but could be prayer books,and the flag is the standard Hinomoru prayer flag with good luck signature's. and I must say that is a great flag. I collect flags and it is fantastic. Great stuff there.

Outstanding grouping of items!

The brass dog tag attached to the sword belt is a nice adder!

Great grouping! If you take some detailed photos of receiver side with serial number & arsenal marks I can tell you more about the rifle. Did you ask if there was any bring back paper work.

There 's still more to come . Some more Japanese things and the Marines footlocker and equipment . The papers and photos are missing at the moment, the family plans to keep his medals , citations and dress uniforms ( Blues & greens ). I will take some pics of the receiver tomarrow.
