                  the flag pole is 65'' tall or 5' 5". I agree it is a neat Item.

                    Recent Vet Purchases...

                    That is a nice senninbari Alex. There are 4 wooden shrine omamori sewn inside along with 2 good luck coins. It also appears that there are black kanji characters inked inside the belt. These usually indicate the name of the patriotic society that gave the belt or contain the name of the person who made/gave it to the soldier. Sometimes the ideograms contain the soldier's info as well (i.e. name, unit, hometown, sometimes even his address.) It is a very nice, clean looking belt. What is the object sewn in between the 2 coins, I can't make it out? Thanks for the post. Mike

                      I believe it's another coin. I'm tempted to open more of the belt ,but i'm not.
