    Japanese navy buckle & pin

    Is this a real Japanese navy buckle? Also does anyone know the ID of this little pin?

        The pin is a naval long service badge. There are three different versions so it would be helpful if you could post a picture of the reverse. They were awarded for long service in the shipyards at Sasebo, Kure and Yokotsuka, the only diifference being the name shown on the reverse.

                This is the version from Yokotsuka. If you look at my book "In the Name of a Living God" it is figure 6.26 on page 54. Basically it is a naval arsenal long service badge awarded to contractors and naval base workers. Yokotsuka is the version which turns up most often.
