    Aloha gunto,
    That’s an awesome late-war shin gunto. Did you have the shira saya and tsunagi made for your shin gunto or did it come originally ( WW2 ) with the sword? Being it’s mounted in a shira saya, is it an old ( samurai ) blade or a well made Gendaito? Hope to see more photos and close ups of your army swords.

    Johnny, could you post photos of the arsenal markings on the fuchi? Are you trying to get all the different arsenal markings of NCO swords?

      here are the arsenal markings on the latest one.

      Yes I would like to get all the arsenal markings
      as well as the copper and wood handle models.

        The shirasaya and tsunagi have I made myself.Its a gendaito.The blade has a lots of scrathes and nicks, but its a beefy blade with wide hamon.Its signed Mitsuoki, Made on a lucky day ,October 1942.
        I restore japanese swords, i make shirasaya,tsuka,tsuka-itomaki,tsunagi.
