    Field Dyed Ijn Field Cap

    As there seems to be an interest in Japanese field caps I've posted a picture of an unusual cap.I have seen a couple variations of field dyed Japanese Navy caps (orignally white). Here is a photo of an earlier, issued PO cap produced in 1942. As you can see the label is dyed as well. If you look under the back ties were they were tied you can still see the white material. Interesting hat variation.

    Thanks for posting the photos of the dyed Navy petty officer's cap...that cap has to be one of the better dyed examples that I have seen.
