    Japanese naval dirk.

    Hi,

    I am very new to collecting Japanese militaria and I just wanna check that there aren't any copies around of these as im thinking of buying one.
    The one im looking at is this one:

    Are there any copies/fakes of these out on the market?
    Would you say that this is a good example or should I wait for another one?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    Yes, they do reproduce these. It's always tough to comment on an item even with photos, but this item looks good from here. Mike

      Yes, there are reproduction ones available. The one in your link appears to be original, although it looks like the cherry blossum devices on the grips are missing.
      I might want to wait for a complete one. They do show up.
