Identification Help Japanese medical bag ?

A friend has found this in a box with some WWII US marine items and it seems to be a Japanese WWII type medical bag but I do not recognize the red embossed Wreath design , does anyone know what it is from? Thanks , John

It was for IJA veterinarian usage. First time I have seen a bag like that for vet. use, very interesting! Any contents inside?
