My new Japanese SNLF items

First up is my new Japanese helmet I picked up from a friend. I believe this is the later type with late liner 1944 ?

please correct me if I’m wrong.

net has some amazing coloring on it, from the bleached side of the net on the helmet to the green side inside the helmet.

please let me know your thoughts as this is my first one

Sooo.

• Helmet shell looks good - right color, but need to see some photos of the heads two rivets on the outside that go thru and fold over to secure the liner.
• Net is 100% original and has that "used in the field" look.
• The inside liner looks later war material construction materials and good to me
• The anchor doesn't look good to me but I'll wait till Scott and Jareth weigh in on that for the final verdict

Overall a good set and hard to come by - Congratulations

ive looked at a dozen or so and each have very slight differences but im guessing not every cast was the exact same

it seems odd to me that the helmet has a lot of wear and scuffs on it but the netting is pristine, isn't that odd, hum?

The netting had tons of repairs so not sure what you mean

Insignia looks good to me. I’m thinking it’s a steel insignia. Check with magnets. Net is a nice well worn original! Are chinstraps full & uncut? Just numbers on canteen cover both side.Congrats
