ID on a mum on a parade sword

Hey all a friend has this dress sword and the mum is different than what I am used to seeing. I did a search on the net and found one or two examples but no description other than "dress sword"..
I feel it has to do with Diplomatic but not sure.

It is a colonial sword (Hannin level) for Korea.

And FYI, the "chrysanthemum" is actually a 桐 Paulownia flower.
