Hello, I have had this pistol holster in my collection for many years.
A New Zealand soldier souvenir from the Pacific.
I want to sell it, but dont know any details about it, or even what sort of price it would fetch. Can someone please help me with some info on exactly what it is and what it's worth is ?

(the loop that connects to the belt on the reverse has had the stitching on one end cut. (probably to assist in removal from the belt when it was souvenireed.

type 14 holster

Hi Phil,
You have a holster for the Type 14 pistol first introduced in 1925 in 8mm Nambu and built till 1945. The leather clamshell holster such as yours is worth a maximum of US$150 without the shoulder strap in its present condition. Hope this helps.
